The spark

app idea: a granola like app that lets you establish goals before the meeting and makes you aware of whether they have been met in real time during the meeting (ui auto checks off a check list)

What I think you're reaching for

Granola already captures what was said. This is the other half: you name the outcomes before anyone talks, then the UI watches the meeting and ticks them as they land. The product is awareness during the meeting, not a better transcript after.

Connections (held loosely)

• 2026-08-16-intentional-interest-graph — loosely — same bet: you set the intent first, and the system only tracks against that, instead of letting the live stream define the path.
• 2026-06-07-brain-as-add-capture-layer — the pre-meeting goals are the capture of a leap (what you actually wanted from the hour) so it doesn't vanish once talk starts.
• No Granola wiki page in the vault yet. The name is a product reference, not a cited source.

Where this could go

• A sidecar to Granola (or any meeting recorder): goals in, live checklist during, leftover goals after.
• A sharper question than the UI: what counts as "met" from audio — explicit agreement, a decision named, or just the topic coming up.
• A research thread later if the idea still has heat: meeting-goal detection, not another notes app.
