Why it may not work

A ~4% single-day move on a conditional approval for one parasite in one state's herd is plausibly sentiment, not earnings. Until a company sizes it on a call, this is a narrative trade wearing a chain's clothes.
  • The outbreak may be contained before it becomes a recurring cost. 34 confirmed infestations against an 86.2M-head herd is epidemiologically trivial. USDA's sterile-insect program (Panama COPEG ~100M flies/wk, Metapa Mexico +60–100M/wk, Moore Air Base TX targeting 300M/wk) eradicated NWS once already.
